Expected Impacts

The program would contribute to the promotion and development of R&E, especially TEIN.

• It will ensure the automatically plant disease detection, classification and management for benefits of TEIN through collaborative research in Asi@connect 
• It will provide the early warning system of plant disease based on the ANN based image processing
• Farmers will get the solution of plant disease management through IoT based cloud services of NREN
• The researchers of different universities/research organizations under NREN will be close together   on the research of real time monitoring of physiological changes of plant for pathogen impacts.
• The MoU between BARC and TEIN community provides encouragement and co-operations to the agricultural researcher’s council under to conduct research on agro-field monitoring and management properly. 
• It will help in social and financial development of the country.
• It will ensure the Website based platform including five countries farmers for sharing and solution of plant disease using NREN services and Asi@Connect network.
